So what is it about Photography? HMMM….It’s addictive. It’s artistic. It’s controlled. Yes, it’s just wonderful. It is controlled, yet free all at the same time. My favorite example is water….or a waterfall to be exact. I can take just a simple picture of a waterfall that looks just as it is. Or with a slight raise of aperture and shutter speed, I can close in and take pics of droplets of water as they are falling as if they were still. Or with another slight change…slowing down the shutter speed and lowering the aperture I can make the water look as though it is smooth and bright. I control the way others see it when they look at my pictures. Photos are all in the eye and mind of the photographer. The pics below were taken with either my first cam…SLR Nikon N80 or with my second cam…DSLR Nikon D100.
